SUPERFICIAL (BCC) – SKIN CANCER

Superficial BCC is a type of skin cancer which is an abnormal growth of skin cells, occurring in fair skin people who have been exposed to too much sun. Slow growth occurring on the face and ears, seen as a flat scaly reddish growth with multiple sites close together producing a large patch. Surgery excises the multifocal areas as one with a clearance of 3 to 5mm from the edge, then repair of the defect.
